EMDR & Schema Therapy for trauma, anxiety, and the patterns that keep holding you back

Why “Inner Compass”?
The name reflects something I believe deeply: you already carry a reliable sense of direction within you. It may have been buried under survival strategies or drowned out by the noise of daily life — but it's there. My work is to help you find it again.
I am primarily trained as an EMDR therapist and Schema therapist, and these two approaches form the backbone of how I work with different issues.
EMDR works directly with the nervous system — helping the brain process what got stuck, so a painful memory becomes something you can hold without being swept away by it.
Schema Therapy looks at the longer story — the deep patterns formed early in life that still quietly shape how you see yourself, relate to others, and respond to difficulty.

How It Works

We'll schedule a 30-minute introductory Zoom call, free of charge, to explore what has led you to pursue therapy. This meeting is an opportunity to see if we can work together effectively and for you to bring any questions or concerns to the table.

Sessions can be in-person or online. We'll start with an initial intake session. I'll ask questions to understand your background and how it relates to who you are today, ensuring our work is grounded in your unique experience.

We'll build a custom plan targeting your goals and implement it using powerful, research-supported methods. Want to know more about the specific techniques I use? I'd love to tell you.
